If you go out to lunch today, or tomorrow, and order say a burger with fries and a soft drink. Your burger has onion, lettuce, tomato and cheese on a sesame seed bun. Ketchup, mustard, pickles and mayo.
Each ingredient in your meal has a life of its own. A logistical quest to your choice. The onion was grown in soil, picked, prepared, packaged and sent. The ketchup created in a factory with all other ingredients that have followed similar processes to assembly. The meat is more than likely from a farm where the animals rarely see anything but their standing still stall and receive whatever treatments yield the highest profit margins. The fries are from processed potatoes. Mixed with chemicals for preservation and artificial taste. Deep fried in the lowest quality oil for, again, the margins. In the same fryer of all other batter and splattered toxins and allergens.
One ingredient has a life of its own. Affected by the same margins. By the time these reach your plate, countless toxins and practices have altered the nutritional value of your dish and what's about to happen after consumption.
This understanding is what your every thought has to be educated with and aware of. That one simple burger basket can be infused with 100's of toxins that make their way through our bodies. Causing different reactions throughout. Inflammation, autoimmunity, diarrhea, and so on.
Your goal, for you and your loved ones, is to find the ingredients that are the least affected by today's processes. Get the burger basket or not, make sure you're getting the quality you deserve.
It isn't as challenging as you believe. You have to believe and know that. Or it'll never be.
